General Terms
The rental is governed by the Hawaii Innkeepers and Hotel Act, and no tenancy is granted other than the vacation rental period specified in the confirmation.
A deposit of $200 (One Hundred Dollars) is required to reserve a unit, and the balance is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival. We accept Mastercharge, Visa, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Personal Checks (subject to clearing), and Money Orders. Hawaii taxes (13.42%) must be added to all rentals. A $95 cleaning fee is charged on all rentals. The cleaning fee is $150 on 2BR units. A refundable security deposit of $150 is required, and is refunded within 7 days of checkout provided the unit is vacated undamaged and all keys left in the unit. Normal usage, and normal cleaning is expected, and will not affect the return of your security deposit. However any missing or damaged items may be charged against your security deposit. Credit cards users may waive the deposit with credit cards authorization.
Parking is allowed on the premises for owners and guests. You must obtain a permit (no charge) at the Kona Reef Office.
Please note that the Pool and Spa hours are posted, and are closed after 10PM. Children under 12 are not permitted in the Spa. Plastic glasses and cups should be used in the pool area not stemware or glass containers.
There are 2 unit keys, and 2 pool keys provided, as well as keys to the security safe, if located in the unit. Check in and entry instructions are provided to you in advance of your arrival. There is a $75 charge for any lost key, since lost keys result in re-keying. Daily maid service can be arranged at a small additional cost. Late check out may be possible, but is not guaranteed, and must be arranged in advance. Reserved dates are held for you while others are turned away, so there is no refund of unused days. If a reservation is cancelled and then re-booked to another party a refund may be issued based on the amount recovered on the substitute reservation.
